4iiii announces new left crank based power meter

4iiii already had a power meter but yesterday announced the evolution of it. With the new Precision 2.0 the lightweight powermeter can be added to your current aluminium crank (if compatible). In this update:

• improved battery life
• battery read out (via app or ant+ compatible device)
• Zero Offset improvements (+/-1% accuracy)
• ability to customise balance

The ability to customise your output balance is interesting if you know your output is not 50/50. As it’s a ‘lefty’ the work of your right leg is a calculated guess. With the customisation you can set it to your output balance (say 45/55) if you know it.
