Wahoo steps into wearables with the ELEMNT RIVAL

What do you get when you sleep two hours Monday night and migrate your email? You miss press notifications. That’s right. I royally missed this one, even though I knew it was coming! So here it is: The Wahoo ELEMNT Rival.

Meanwhile I’ve caught up and have a review about the ELEMNT RIVAL for you here.

Last Tuesday Wahoo announced their first wearable, the ELEMNT RIVAL. A watch in a segment that’s already very full, but knowing Wahoo, they did their homework.

Triathlon

The RIVAL is most certainly targeted at triathletes. The watch has a multi-sport profile and built in transition detection.

Auto Transition

The automatic transition is a pretty neat feature as you can also undo the transition. It gives you total control or you can leave it up to the watch. And regardless of wat segment of the race you are in, the watch will record all possible data. This allows you to adjust your race after your finish. So your transitions are correct.

Just a note about the “links to buy” in this article, as they are sponsored. I do look for the lowest price I can find at the time of writing in a handful of stores, but by using the links I earn from qualifying purchases made through these links.
